| Join to Form a Ring (Double Chain) | ||
| Step 1 Bring ends of chain together making certain there are no twists in the chain: |
Step 2 Insert hook into first chain made: |
Step 3 Yarn over and pull loop through chain and loop on hook (slip stitch): |

| Step 4 Undo starting knot and draw end through bottom loop of last chain made. Fasten to wrong side of fabric after completing first row of stitches: |
