| Change Color in a Ring (Wrong Side to Right Side) This process hides the color change and creates a stable end-of-row join. | ||
| Step 1 Attach color change yarn to wrong side of piece with a square knot and keep first color to wrong side: |
Step 2 Carry color change loosely over fabric, insert hook into joining stitch to the right of new color, yarn over: |
Step 3 Draw loop through stitch and through loop on hook: |

Step 5 Turn piece over: |
Step 6 Insert hook into stitch to the right of new color and under old color, for sc work stitch as usual (if working a starting chain or a round-front stitch, slip stitch 1 and work rest of stitch as usual). Give old color a small tug to join row ends completely.: |
